Thursday, February 05, 2004 To whom it may concern: During the summer of 1999 the City of Grants Pass contracted with Taurus Power and Controls to install a new Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system. This system involved adding two new sites to the City’s existing system, converting our existing 13 sites and upgrading our operator interface software. In all 18 sites were involved, seven (7) Reservoirs and eight (8) Pump Stations plus three sites that were in the planning stages (two being added by the end of this month, and one more with-in the year). Taurus Power and Controls completed this project weeks ahead of schedule and for the budgeted amount. They showed an in depth knowledge and experience in all areas of their field and the system that they provided has far surpassed our expectations. Their response to warranty issues has been exemplary and the City will defiantly consider them when bidding future projects. Plant Specialist/ Maintenance, Jason M Canady
